Get started in minutes with our simple process
Add Teams Chat Backup to your Chrome browser from the Chrome Web Store. Installation takes just seconds.
Sign in to Microsoft Teams on the web and open the chat or channel you want to preserve.
Click the extension, choose one or more available conversations, and start the automatic history scan. Long Chat Mode is available for older histories.
Open the saved conversation in the local Viewer, then download PDF, HTML, or TXT. Pro users can export all backups as ZIP.
Version 6.1 uses your existing Teams browser session.
The extension does not ask for a Google account or collect your email address. It reads only the Teams web page you authorize by clicking the extension, then stores the backup in your browser.
